Alejandro Guerra

Vice President, Project Execution

Alejandro brings a wealth of engineering execution experience to Circon where he provides overall, individual project execution management in his role ensuring the Company’s projects meet expectations and objectives. Before joining Circon Energy, Mr. Guerra spent the last twelve years managing complex international and domestic multi-billion dollar projects with Anadarko Petroleum (NYSE: APC) and Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: OXY) to include Ghana, Colombia, Algeria, and US Gulf of Mexico deepwater efforts.  Prior to Anadarko, Mr. Guerra spent five years at Hess Corporation (NYSE: HES) where he was a developments and planning manager for critical projects in SE Asia, deepwater Gulf of Mexico, and onshore infrastructure in the Bakken. Mr. Guerra started his career in energy with British Petroleum (NYSE: BP) where he spent 10 years engineering and executing multiple upstream facilities ranging from gas plants and compression in the San Juan Basin, LNG facilities in the Atlantic basin, and significant developments in the Gulf of Mexico deep water.  

 

Mr. Guerra graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master degree in Petroleum Engineering. During his career, Mr. Guerra also graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Master in Business Administration (MBA).

 

Mr. Guerra is originally from South Texas and has lived in Sugar Land for twenty years with his wife and son. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, family and spending time in central Texas.  Mr. Guerra possesses native fluency in English and Spanish and basic Portuguese.
