Frank Giacalone

Vice-Chairman, Principal and Founder

Frank Giacalone as Vice-Chairman, Principal and Founder of Circon Energy is responsible for the overall development and delivery of multi-product energy infrastructure for Circon Energy and serves as CEO of Circon Management, where he oversees project execution.

 

In addition to his leadership at Circon Energy, Frank is Founder and CEO of Navasota Energy Solutions and the Navasota Energy family of companies. There he has guided the development, financing, ownership, operations, and divestiture of more than 16 GW of conventional and renewable energy generation assets.

 

Mr. Giacalone previously served as Vice President of Development and Asset Management for NRG Energy Inc. where he successfully developed and built the Brazos Valley Energy Center, a 645 MW state-of-the-art combined cycle facility, successfully acquired the Duke Energy-Oklahoma City energy center, a 550 MW state-of-the-art combined cycle facility, and led expansion efforts resulting in the formation of the Southwest Region.

 

His extensive background includes infrastructure development, construction, and operations including over $10 billion in acquisitions and divestitures across renewables, natural gas, and electric power assets.

 

An avid outdoorsman and adventurer, Frank continually invests his personal resources into others with a talent and enthusiasm to improve the lives of people and wildlife globally. Frank helped fund an effort to catalog the genomes of animals on 3 continents through Texas A&M University.
