Matt brings a wealth of experience and perspective to business development at Circon. His demonstrated history of applying modular solutions reduces time-from-concept to delivered benefits, and his passion for business-ready execution ensures nothing is left out. 

In addition to driving business at Circon, Matt is also CDO of Kinected Energy Solutions, LLC.  Before joining Circon, Matt was a Partner-VP of Business Development at CCI Engineering and Construction, and before that, he served as Partner-VP of Business Development at Wellflex Energy Solutions.

One of his many career highlights was executing a management buyout of a vertically integrated manufacturing entity from an unconventional E&P. In doing so, he was instrumental in creating an innovative independent full-scope solutions provider for oil and gas infrastructure development. 

Additionally, while at Exterran Energy Solutions, Mr. Thompson was the sales leader in multiple service lines including compression, process and treating and production equipment.   

Over the past 16 years, Matt has provided mentorship to Big Brothers Big Sisters-led teams from various organizations, developing events to raise money for BBBS, and volunteers as a proud “big”. Matt also enjoys every minute he can spend with his wife and daughters.
