Iván “Pudge” Rodríguez

After an illustrious 21-year professional playing career, Pudge is still considered the greatest defensive catcher in MLB history, earning virtually every accolade the sport could offer – MLB Hall of Fame, all-time games leader as catcher, World Series champion, NLCS MVP, AL MVP, 14 All-Star games, 13 Gold Gloves, 7 Silver Slugger awards, Texas Sports Hall of Fame, Texas Rangers Hall of Fame, and Latino Hall of Fame.

 

Following his retirement from baseball, Pudge remains involved as the Special Assistant to the General Manager of the Texas Rangers, instructor to several major and minor league ballplayers as well as on-air analyst for Bally Sports Southwest.

 

Off the field, Mr. Rodriguez has built a successful business career through a variety of investments both domestically and abroad. He has maintained his never-ending passion to help improve the quality of life for those who made his life so enjoyable and for those who deserve better opportunities to make their own meaningful impact upon the world. Pudge also generously supports and shares his time with many community and non-profit organizations.
