Because data plays a foundational strategic role in delivering reliable, mission-critical solutions for Circon's customers, Tom is responsible for setting the Company's entire data strategy and innovation agenda. His exceptional skills help create a consistent edge-to-cloud automation experience across Circon's global project portfolio.

Prior to joining Circon, Tom was Vice President and Chief Technologist for Hewlett-Packard's Commercial PC and Industry Standard Server Software divisions, where he was responsible for innovations such as autonomous energy management and remote support automation for enterprise assets.

During his 26 years with HP, Tom was promoted to the prestigious position of HP Fellow for his industry-recognized technical contributions to the company. Earlier in his career, Tom held senior technical management and software engineering roles with Compaq Computer and Diebold.

A passionate, hands-on innovator with over 48 U.S. patents in computer hardware and software designs, Tom earned his MBA from Texas A&M University and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Houston. 

As a commercially-rated pilot, Tom flies volunteer missions for Angel Flight, a non-profit organization providing free air transportation to people in need of specialized medical treatment. Tom also volunteers as programming mentor for his community's youth robotics team.
